Facebook: SMS Security Code don't arrive through on phone. Help me FB Team pls!?
Hello im Emanuele Tinari, i’m writing from Italy, so sorry for my bad english.
my FB account is not blocked but i'm waiting a SMS message from Facebook that DON'T arrive.
I can't access my Fb account since friday 02/03 evening (italian time).
i close my notebook in office logging off from Fb, but few minutes after, when i arrived at home, and i try to log in, Fb tolds me:
a security code was sent to you in a sms message on your phone number: +39 328 5****** (Italian phone number with H3G as cell operator).
But...at this moment (02/22) NO message from FACEBOOK is arrived !:-(
I tried many times and in different days to click on "Resend code" (more than 500 times), but nothing arrived.
I tried to read many times over the help page or internet but nothing.
i send many emails at this address:
abuse@facebook.com - advertise@facebook.com - appeals@facebook.com - copyright@facebook.com - disabled@facebook.com - privacy@facebook.com - video@facebook.com - ip+brasbj1.aea5ybhwhnxw2@support.facebook.com
some FB mails find in internet but only automatic messages answer me saying: read the help pages.
PLEASE help me to solve this problem i don't know what doing now :-((
Some info about me:
Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 new with Android;
my carrier is since 2007, so, no new porting;
i'm not be able to log in FB from my smartphone with the android application or from the page m.facebook.com (in the first case the app told me there are problem with your account, login from a PC, in the second case FB told me: an sms code is sent to your phone etc.. but in this case no sms arrived too :-( )
where is the drop-down menu that appears when you click "Sign Up for Facebook Text Messages." ? can u write the link ? (REMEMBER i can't access to my account via web-PC or FB app or web_smartphone)
QUOTE: Try sending "On" or "Fb" (without quotes) instead of "f" to receive your code.
at which number i should send On or Fb ???
I don't understand anything! no good this answer for me!

First, check the Mobile page for more information about whether your carrier is supported. Your carrier is supported if it is listed in the drop-down menu that appears when you click "Sign Up for Facebook Text Messages."

If your carrier is not supported, we encourage you to contact your carrier to let them know that you are interested in this service. If enough people show interest, they may decide to support our Mobile Texts feature. For now, please note that you can use our Mobile Uploads feature to upload photos, videos, and notes directly from your phone.

You should also be able to access your account via Mobile Web at m.facebook.com or iphone.facebook.com for iPhones.

If your carrier is supported, please read the following guidelines to troubleshoot your problem:

â– Be sure you are sending your text to the correct number for your carrier.

â– Make sure that your phone does not include a signature at the end of your text messages. This can interfere with Facebook Mobile correspondence.

â– Try sending "On" or "Fb" (without quotes) instead of "f" to receive your code.

â– If you have recently ported your number from a different carrier, you may not be able to receive the confirmation code to activate Mobile Texts. This is a problem that we are aware of and hope to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

No problem with carrier I went there and talked to them. I receive sms from other service. either it is an error. or Facebook does it deliberately ro steal people identity by asking their ID card to solve the problem. I wanna really investigate this issue. because it can't stay for a long time. does Facebook really don't know about it? I don't think so. I am in Germany. my carrier is O2 they told me the problem is with Facebook.
