What should I do? HELP?

So this Wednesday is a club meeting at this college near me (I go to a different one, but this meeting allows anyone from anywhere). I really want to go because I looked up the Facebook page for the club and everyone in the club photo looks nice and friendly, BUT the majority of them all go to that school so I think I'd feel left out and weird since I don't go there. Should I go? I don't know anyone at all and I think most of them know each other. I'm not a naturally outgoing person either.
BTW! The first meeting is going to be at a beach actually. They are just meeting at the school to figure out carpool plans. I want to offer my car to take them because it'd be easier for me instead of me leaving my car in the nearby shopping center and worrying about parking officers citing me for parking there since you're not allowed to park there for too long.

By all means, go and give it a try! It's only one meeting. If you like what you find, great! If not, don't go back. I think the idea of taking your car is a very good one.
