is there a website or something i can go to in order to find local musicians?

i am currently forming a metal band here in iowa but unfortunately its hard to find other musicians interested in playing this genre of music. currently i have a lead guitarist, a guitarist and a vocalist, we are currently looking for a bass player, maybe someone for keyboards (maybe), maybe a second vocalist and of course we need someone on drums. looking for maybe some kind of website or blog or soemthing that may be of help

It would probably be best to try a few things to see what you feel is best. Maybe start with creating a facebook page and get it shared or make a twitter account. YouTube could also help if you start uploading videos. Not sure if you've heard of Gumtree but you may want to try that too... It may get a little creepy on there though Hope this helps and good luck with the band :3
