Corporations do not vote, you do, and your neighbor, etc. And you put these people in office. The Koch brothers only have two votes, the rest come from other people. the 1% only had one percent of the votes
My candidates either never win or the do not get niminated to run in the first place,
Don't elect people like we do and we will not have these issues,

The system is not rigged--it doesn't have to be. The issue goes back to the famous incompleteness theorem discovered by Kurt Godel in 1931. In any system of rules based on certain axioms--assumed or empirical, there are always actions whose legality cannot be proven or dis-proven in the system. That is, there is always something that you can get away with--which blows the fail-safe of the system. Adding this new found axiom to the fail-safe, yet another loophole is guaranteed to be there.

According to Einstein and Oppenheimer, colleagues of Godel at Princeton's Institute of Advanced Studies who served as Godel's witnesses at his U.S. citizenship hearing, the morning thereof they found him very distressed. In reviewing the Constitution, as required for his exam, he found such a loophole usable to transform the U.S. into a de facto authoritarian regime as his native Austria had become, without any de jure change.

Unchecked, the clever opportunist ego is always guaranteed a successful path to exploitation in any classical system whatever the fail-safes. The use of money to buy the mass-psychological power of the media, the social and political access which money, one way or another, can attain, and the use by multinational corporations of differences in rules and economic realities between different countries, and a countless host of techniques, will accomplish the goal without the technical violations of any laws.

Only when we are unified in mutual responsibility will we be safe from such exploitation, and can a healthy, globalized humanity evolve.

For a general picture of the importance of developing mutual responsibility, it would be worth your while to explore the website listed as source below.
