google chrome icons for desktop url shortcuts?

I seem to have this keep repeating on me but URL shortcuts i save to my desktop from google chrome change to this ugly icon. I thought i fixed the problem 2 days ago by using system restore and re creating the shortcuts but they have came back. wat do
right clicking the icons and pressing change icon only shows google chrome icons(about 5 variations).

Try reinstalling Google Chrome
