Google Now on Desktop (Google Chrome Mac)?
Hi,

I just found out that Google has released it's Google Now service for desktop users via Google Chrome Beta.
So, I downloaded Chrome Beta on my Mac, and it worked perfectly!
However, I accidentally closed all the cards and I didn't know how to get them back.
So, I went ahead and searched online, and found this method, where you type chrome://flags and Enable Google Now. Once that was done, I clicked "Relaunch". Instead of fixing it, Google Now notification icon has disappeared from the status bar.
I tried re-installing chrome few times, but no luck yet.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm currently running OS X Mavericks

It’s likely that one of your data types is having trouble syncing. Remove and re-add your Google Account.

Touch Chrome menu > Settings > your email address.
Touch Manage Accounts > Manage.
Touch the x next to the Google Account you want to remove.
In the confirmation dialog that appears, touch Remove.
Force close Chrome.
Restart Chrome.
Touch Chrome menu > Settings > Sign in to Chrome and re-enable sync on the device.
