Problem with internet connection?
I have an ADSL internet connection which uses a D-LINK wireless router connected to my main computer. The problem I have is that intermittently, every few seconds I'm getting an error on my computer which flashes up saying that a network cable is unplugged. I can still browse the net but its affecting my online gaming, causing lag.
The interesting thing is that no cables are disconnected, I have replaced them all...AND my wirless internet works absolutely fine it's very quick and there's no problems. I pinged my DNS and it came back fine...I then tried to ping http://www.google.com and it came back with a hardware failure. Can anybody please tell me what's causing this? I'm finding it hard to believe it's a hardware failure, given that my wireless internet is absolutely fine.....any suggestions would be appreciated. I just tried to ping google again and this time there was no hardware failure...but the cable error keeps flashing up. It's doing my head in, please help ahhh Ads |

If you are not getting the problem which is coming to your internet connection then the simplest way is to call the companies office and make a complaint.
