Problem with internet connection?
I have an ADSL internet connection which uses a D-LINK wireless router connected to my main computer. The problem I have is that intermittently, every few seconds I'm getting an error on my computer which flashes up saying that a network cable is unplugged. I can still browse the net but its affecting my online gaming, causing lag.

The interesting thing is that no cables are disconnected, I have replaced them all...AND my wirless internet works absolutely fine it's very quick and there's no problems.

I pinged my DNS and it came back fine...I then tried to ping http://www.google.com and it came back with a hardware failure.

Can anybody please tell me what's causing this? I'm finding it hard to believe it's a hardware failure, given that my wireless internet is absolutely fine.....any suggestions would be appreciated.
I just tried to ping google again and this time there was no hardware failure...but the cable error keeps flashing up. It's doing my head in, please help ahhh

If you are not getting the problem which is coming to your internet connection then the simplest way is to call the companies office and make a complaint.
