NEED HELP! FACEBOOK ACTIVATE!?
Okay, im getting tonnes of these things in my newsfeed from my friends and its saying something like "My friends name ACTIVATE your account or it will be deleted within a week. and it has the little facebook icon beside it, so it looks legit , but i think its fake!

When I click the ACTIVATE it re-directs me to the application page on facebook, and it says :

Allow Access?
Allowing Activate Account access will let it pull your profile information, photos, your friends' info, and other content that it requires to work.
Allow
or cancel

I dont want to add the application because im afriad something might happen, but I don't want to not add it and then loose my account!

HELP!

every application that you add on facebook says that same warning so i dont think you have anything to worry about if you add it.

It's obviously fake. Don't believe everything you see on the net. It's unbelievable easy to copy the facebook icon and paste it to a spamming application. If you look closely, the app isn't even developed by Facebook. Read this webpage:
