Most services will have a terms of service (ToS) and a privacy policy. Take a good read at them for your particular service. But most would agree that they will not release your information to a third party unless if it's to answer a governmental inquiry regarding a investigation (and such third parties are affiliated with the government) or for internal use (to advertise their own services and other products to you, and not those of affiliates, or for other information and updates regarding their service changes).

But like what the other answerers says, don't put in stuff what you are not required to input.
