How much should I charge for advertising?

So I currently own a media website with >3.5 million page views a day. I am going to start direct advertising soon and I need some advice. Right now my plan is to have a CPM based advertising service. I am thinking I will charge $10 per 1000 impressions for a banner ad and a 400,000 impression minimum. I am also planning on having a skyscraper on the side and charging $8 per 1000 impressions, and a smaller ad on the side with $4 per 1000 rate. One plus of advertising on my site would be the fact that the average time spent on each page (watching a video mostly so you're eyes wander) is about 3 minutes. So is this plan a good and do-able one?
