Can you retrieve a full sized image from an album on facebook?
Hey guys,
I'm was looking online for ways to retrieve a full sized image from facebook, when I came across this promising site:
http://forum.developers.facebook.com/vie...p?id=27169
It looks like they are using commands to retrieve the url where the original image is stored. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to input these... commands? My computer knowledge is fair, but I have no experience with programing. Could someone explain to me what they're doing and if it is possible to retrieve the full sized image from facebook?
Clarification: facebook reduces your picture to... less than .34 megapixels... My cellphone has 2.0 megapixels, I think... so I can't get any decent quality pictures.

that is for a programmer that wants to stream or get those pics.. if you simply just want one or a few pics, just right click on it and 'save as'.

also, there is a limit to how big the pics will be, as facebook (to save space and bandwith) resizes the pictures quite a lot. So the biggest image that you will download will still be quite smaller than the original picture (and there is no way to get the original back)

Ps. Print quality on facebook pictures is horrendous at best!

The best you will be able to do is to retrieve a picture as it is displayed on the screen. When people upload pictures, Facebook re-sizes them. There is no way back to the originals that were uploaded.

There are two ways to retrieve photos. The first is right clicking on the photo you want, then clicking 'Save as' in the menu that comes up.

The second is the print screen button on the top right of the keyboard.
Press that when you can see the photo you want, then open whatever photo editing software you have on your PC. Then press paste (CTRL +V), and you will get an exact replica of what was on the screen. You can then trim this to only leave the photo.
