i think im trying to hard!!?
everyone i'm friends with, some are closer than others....They all seem to be stand offish, texting freinds, emailingon facebook, a lot seem not to get back to me.

i was at the bar last night with my friend, hes not a close friend. But i texted him today to see if he got home ok, he didnt reply....so i called him, he apoliged for not texting back i cant rember his excuse. The call dropped poor signal, he didnt call back. I texted him to say i would catch him later still no reply.

I feel its like that with everyone, maybe i try to hard to be nice with my friends and push them away.

its the same with potential girlfriends, i think i try to hard to be nice or something!

Girls i should be dating and the choose someone else, when i feel i'm a cool guy, they should be choosing me.

I can only think i'm trying to hard.

obviously i feel akward writing this, if anyone can say anything positive it would be apprecaited.

thanks

From experience the answer is to have good character, people are often drawn by people with certain traits. Hitler was charismatic, and drew lots of attention, not that is was good, but he was influential. Same with Martin Luther King jr. It's the deeds you do that catch a persons interest. The Bible says men will be known by there fruits, "actions etc" so look to improve your character. Either look to God for a improvement, or if you don't want to do it the Christian way you could always look for things to improve on yourself by yourself.

Sincerity, honesty, modesty, showing self control, many things to pick to build on, but not everyone wants that specific trait. So choose something that fits you. And in time you'll be noticed for who you are and not first impressions.
