How do I fix my internet connection?
So I have a wireless gateway, using comcast/xfinity. It's really slow when more than 1 device is trying to do something. All the devices in my house are wireless but whenever I try to play Xbox it's constantly lagging even if I'm the only one home. Then if I'm on Xbox and my brother gets on YouTube it completely knocks me off. I don't know why this is happening when my gateway is supposed to be able to handle it. Anything that could help please let me know.

I recommend that you call Comcast about the problem and request for a technician to come over to figure out the problem.

wireless connection will always be slower that ethernet/cable connection

what speed are you paying for from comcast?
connect to router with a cable and one device only and go to speedtest.net (free sign up)
test your speed and compare to others in your area or isp or country
if poor speed talk to comcast - use speedtest (the same method as before 2 - 3 times a day for 1 week and use as evidence to comcast if they don't fix)
if speed is ok and it's your wifi consider checking your wifi router (upgrade if necessary) or look for powerline adapters (they use your existing electrical supply as network cable)
