Someone bidding on my ebay item that just signed up?
This person just signed up yesterday. Has 0 feedback history. I am shipping the item via envelope with regular postage stamp. Whats to say this person just takes my item and claims he never got when he really did. What can I do when sending this item out to make sure I am safe not having to refund this item if he tries to rip me off. Can I send the item a certain way incase he claims he never gets it then ebay sides with me and not with the person that might be a scammer. thanks

If you ship without Delivery Confirmation, ANYONE can open a false INR claim against you -- 0 feedback or 1 million feedback. In fact, the buyer with 1 million feedback is far more likely to be aware of this than the newbie.

You never ship with normal stamps or they will always file a chargeback. You must send with signed proof of delivery or you have no protection

NEVER send anything without a TRACKING NUMBER Otherwise your customer will get a refund if they want one

Sure. Just send it signature required, that way they have to sign for it upon delivery. This option will, of course, cost extra (like about $2.00) but it ensures that they can't claim they didn't get it.

I don't do the stamp thing. ALWAYS choose a service with tracking, or purchase it separately. Everyone is always weary of brand new buyers or sellers, but i have had the most issues with B & S with 1,000+ transactions.
