ps3 wont establish internet connection?

i have mobile broadband (3) and i used the ethernet cable to connect it with the computer i looked up many way off doing it but it always fails to get an internet connection i turned off firewall and it still didnt work i think it could be something wrong with the modem because sometimes i am connected but cant surff the web any tips PLEASE HELP! i really want to get ps3 online but i cant get landline broadband

dunno, since you didnt mention it try choosing connection by cable? not wireless. it should still work. well if thats not the case that means u have to change settings in your PC and share internet connection to other users if you know what i mean.. check your mobile broadband provider websites and it should be in FAQ/help section
