Why is it such a big deal that I deleted people from my Facebook page??

I sat down one day and deleted about 100 people. Most of my family were deleted. I did it because I was tangled in some he said/she said gossip over my Facebook page. Someone had read some things on my page and assumed and speculated. So, I deleted anyone that I felt like would keep drama going.

Come to find out, there were heavy discussions in my family about it. They were shocked to have been deleted. Some said that I didn't seem like the type that would delete them. Some even came up to me and asked why did I do it.

Yup..They are overreacting probably. Or maybe they just don't want you to delete them since they are your family...

1.) Is your family involved or a topic of discussion in this gossip you are hearing about? Thats an unfortunate and unusual situation. Is this an issue of people gossiping about pictures of your family? Unless it appears you have a strange family...then your friends don't seem like quality people...kinda shallow actually. Keep reading if this is not the case
2.)I would definitely be prepared for some aqward meetings with my family if I untagged them from photos w me..untagging myself in photos w them, or deleting them all together. How the hell did your family get involved with he said she said bs? You can always control who comments on your photos. You can also hide various facebook material from your family, I do it all the time.

If its your Family than you Shouldn't have Deleted them i Can See Why they Came Up to you and Asked you Why
