How do I block a site from google chrome browser?
P.s. I have already tried Chrome settings, Under the hood and all. And Host file way too. Neither worked.
Links of freewares to block sites would be appreciated

Another option is to block it from your router but this means that anyone using your router will be blocked from it. Or you can set it up in your router so that only one person is blocked, identifying them by their mac address. This can't be done if you are not a router admin though. If you are an admin, log into your router and put a blocking tracker on your mac address to block the website. There are online tutorials on how to do this, it depends entirely on what router you have.

You can also check to see if there an inbuilt website blocker in your antivirus software. If you have windows, there may be a website blocker in the windows defender, but I don't know that for sure.
