can you be in a relationship with someone on facebook without them agreeing to be in it?

It would then jus say " in a relationship"

No, because if you add them, they receive a notification saying, "[Someone] has sent you a relationship request." or something along those lines.

How can you call it a relationship, when only 1 of you are in it?? But, you also just cant add anyone without them okaying it.
