Instagram Followers not there?

My instagram account says I'm following 500+ people but I'm only following 10, I know it's from people deleting their accounts but I was wondering if there was any way to get it back to the real number? It would really help a lot, thank you xx

that happened to me and to my friend at the same time not to long ago. we were both on our iPhones & on Instagram & we decided to "compare followers" then both of us were like "woah woah woah that is soooo off" and we just laughed about it. it said I was followed 500 & that 60 were following me but it's pretty much the opposite. don't sweat it though it will go back to normal. the app probably just has a big and will get an update soon.
