Help me please!!! My beloved FB account wont let me Log in, whats happened?

When i log in facebook it is coming up with this message... 
" Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again 
 in a few minutes" 
...why is this? Have i been banned? I have not done anything wrong.. At all! As a regular user, I'm sure you can get how scared i am that my account has been banned! But the big question is.. What have i done? Please answer, I'm worried sick my account has been blocked, Ive never done a single thing wrong on FB.. Ever!! :'(

Its now been about 5 hrs since i was last using my facebook as normal, I honestly am not sure how much longer i can take.. Im already starting to want to be back online!! I feel like I've had my heart stabbed, I just need my FB back.. I love it too much!

Sometimes FB servers are under maintenance. Something similar happened with me, but not actually for so long. Try putting in m.facebook.com in your browser and see if it works fine.
Sometimes it can be because of an issue with your browser. try using another one, such as Mozilla Firefox.

For the rest, Facebook puts up much better details when it bans/blocks someone, so in any case you are not banned from accessing Facebook. Just wait and try what I wrote above
