Internet connection problems?
Today while I've been online on my PC or laptop (along with my sister and mum who have the same problems), I've had numerous problems connecting to sites. On Chrome it says that it cannot find site A, whenever I try Firefox and I have connection problems it says it's unable to find the server. This is happening on all computers in the house using the same Internet connection (AOL Broadband, not my choice). Is this AOL itself or a problem with my connection, in which case if it's the latter how could I fix this?
Should add that after a number of refreshes and deep refreshes the page does load and on occasions there is no problem but it is still very common.
It happens to virtually all websites. Strangely YA has been fine (that said as soon as I post this I'm gonna get problems. Will try resting the router for a few minutes then try again.
Also I ran virus scans, all came back clean (using Malwarebytes AntiMalware.
HijackThis causes McAffee to pop up saying it's detected and deleted a worm file from Avast's folders. Ran it anyway, no domain hijacks.

Hey bro what i would do is unplug your router or modem for a bit , Say 30 seconds or so then plug it back in and also restart your computer

Also you might wanna run some disk cleanups and spyware programs.

So this happens only to some websites and not always? Have you tried re-staring the computer or turning power of the modem and back on again?

If none of these work I'd say try in a couple of hours or tomorrow must be some kinda connection problem overall (with AOL Broadband).

Try downloading Hijackthis. You might be domain hijacked which means that a virus is stopping you from going on certain sites or searching for certain things ex. anti-virus. Run Hijackthis, go onto info and look for the number that has beside it (Domain Hijacked) click the little square and click, Fix This. If this isn't the case I suspect it is on their end, ask your mum to ring them up and tell them about the shitty internet connection. You are paying for it after all.

probably corrupt network link you have refreshed it but although your network name is their its missing a link or its intermittent now you could keep refreshing but the best thing to do is renew the link this is very easy to do so follow these steps below (get your sister and motherto follow the same steps
1.Shut down the router and leave it off
2.On your laptop go to the wireless network icon (bottom right of you laptop )and right click it
3.Choose (Network andSharing Centre)
4.Choose(Manage Wireless Networks)
5.When your network appears in the list highlight it and in the bar above it choose(Remove)
6.exit this back to the desktop and shut down leave it off
7.Turn on your router and let it load
8.Turn on you laptop
9.Go back to the wireless icon again and right click it this time choose(Connect to a Network)
10.When your network appears in the list select it and add you passkey/word
Hopefully that is you back on line again
