My facebook account was taken over?

My facebook account was taken over?
So I tried logging into my facebook today and it got hacked (I know this because it's happened three times before in this past week) but I can't reset it because they hacked my email as well. Isn't there a type of thing on facebook where you can upload and send your photo ID to the developers to prove it's you, and they can reset it?

Please help!
I can't change the email password, but either way, I think they changed my original email on the fb account to one of their own. Can I "shut down" my facebook so they can't get in at least?
I can't change security settings if I can't get in though...?
I can't figure out how to contact facebook either, I feel so technologically clueless haha.
These are all very helpful, thank you! But the main problem is, it seems I have to enter the email that's currently on the account, which I don't have access to (it's the hackers new email.)

Start by changing your e-mail password. Then try to change the facebook password. And make sure you don't use the same password for everything.

You might have tried to log in using more than one device. --1

You may have activated Facebook in Blackberry Data plans--2

You may have forgotten the password---------------------------------3

You may been cheated by your friends who has your password--4

You may did something abusive in Facebook by that they will block you-- 5

But you dont have to show your identity proofs..

you can change your security settings..

Have a nice day<3

this just happened to me today! i think the only thing to do is report it to facebook and try to reset the password Sad
- go to facebook.com, and on the bottom right there is a "help" button. then go to "report a bug" then to "phishing, spam and hacked accounts"

First you may be lucky that they changed the password to something simple like "password" or "12345". Look on google to find default password list. If that doesn't work then go on fb login as normal you should obviously get a login error saying wrong user name or password. On that page click "forgot my password". follow the instructions and there should be and when you enter your user name (email) and choose to reset via email choose "I no longer have access to these accounts". Then before or then on a new tab create a new email account and then type that in instead of your original email. It will then ask you to select three friends to help you in which they will receive codes or something (i've never done it before but it's something like that) then they are like the proof that it's you and no one trying to gain accesses to your account. Then just reset the password that way.

Remember when you reset the password use letters and numbers and if you can capitals and lowcase. For example instead of "dave was here" use "D4V3 w4s H3r3". It will be much harder to hack and also the longer the password is the better as well. For the email use the new account you created to send a password reset to then do it that way unless you have a secondary email all ready then that should work.

I hope this helps Smile

the only thing you can do is:
1.Move on
2.Forget about your account
3.You aint getting it back
4.Start a new account
5.Get your friends to report your previous account
6.Hope that by reporting it you may be able to close it
