How to get tumblr followers?

My tumblr is supersonic-Queen.tumblr.com and I have been on tumblr for maybe about 2 weeks, but I have only 19 followers and I am following about 25 people. I am extremely active and I post in my opinion good stuff but I don't get followers, I have tried tumblrplug but it didn't work. Please help!

Complete a lot of tagging and look for stuff that you like and post pictures & video and add random people!

If you've only been on tumblr about two weeks then you really shouldn't have a bunch of followers, it take time. The thing is is that tumblr doesn't support things like tumblrplug or promos to get followers and actually says in the policy that they don't want users to be using thing such as tumblrplug to gain followers. You can check it out for yourself if you don't believe me. Tumblr is really about expressing yourself not gaining followers. I personally prefer people who have checked out my blog and I tend to consider other methods cheating and I wonder if the really care about what I am posting. However, if you really want more followers there are a few things you can do. Tagging your pictures allows people find your pictures in searches. A big part is reaching out and being active. Search tags that intrest you and follow other people whose posts pop up. Check out their blogs, like their posts, it spreads you out and shows more people who you are. A lot of people prefer to follow blogs that have little text, so unless you are a mostly text blog or it works for you, I have heard of people regularly deleting text posts of their blog (it tend not to listen to this, but it may help). Also try to center around a theme, because people prefer to follow blogs that they know what to expect and that it is what they want. I checked out your blog and I really like your background, it looks good and your blog overall looks neat which is a big plus for getting followers. Hopefully that helped. Good Luck!!

19 followers is good for a blog that's only 2 week old. It takes time to get a lot of followers. You could try following other people with similar blogs so they can check out your blog and follow back. You can also post things and tag them so people can find you.
