i want to use my bsnl evdo dongle with my wi-fi router. how?
hello,

i have a dlink 600L router that i used to use when i had a static ethernet cable broadband connection. now i have purchased a evdo connection of BSNL that runs when the evdo modem is plugged to usb slot. so my question is how can i make it possible to use the evdo and the router simultaneously so that i can use the internet on my other devices such as cellphones, laptops and tablets via wi-fi....is it possible to do so??

since the speed and cost of evdo is very good that's why i dumped my old broadband connection. now i want to use it on my other wi-fi enabled devices.

please help

important: I ALSO HAVE A FEMALE USB TO MALE ETHERNET CONNECTOR...WILL IT HELP??

Unless you have some way to program an Ethernet input to recognize a USB device you will need a different router! There are routers built for USB dongles, you don't have one! The router needs to be able to supply power and programming to the USB device.

Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear but that is the situation.

Your DLink 600L wireless router will not work.

You'll need to but a specialized router that supports 3G / 4G EVDO USB dongles.

Depending on what country you are in, will determine what is available and the cost.

Hare is a US example at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SNE...xcharge-20

Good Luck.
