how do I convince my parents to let me go back on social media things lol??

okay, so I'm almost 15 and my parents got mad at me for making internet friends without telling them and basically banned me from any social media apps, I cant go on twitter, tumblr, instagram, nothing. I really want to ask them if I can go back onto these things because its been almost 6 months, but I feel like my parent STILL don't trust me because they check my phone and are always suspicious, but I havent talked to my friends from the internet since they told me not to. im scared they will yell at me and not trust me even more if I ask, but im a teenager and they don't understand the internet and things we do on it these days lol. I want them to trust me again and let me do things everyone else does and not feel like I have to hide my phone whenever im using it even though im not doing anything wrong (and they know that since they randomly check my phone). please help????

Going on without them knowing can ruin everything, so I suggest you just talk to them and tell them that you really want to go on. There's really no way you can convince them other than asking. Worst thing that can happen is they say no.

I would suggest getting your local friends, and even uncles and aunts who uses social media to convince your parents.

There's no use in trying to convince them yourself because they already don't trust you. Instead get others to help you. The more people, the better.

That is why petitions and protests exist.
