Facebook privacy settings? Confused?

I know someone who I am not friends with on Facebook yet I can still go on their wall and like and comment on their status? How do I set my privacy setting to where people can like and see my status but they are not friends with me?

yes you can... there are options when you post something in the top of the dialogue box... like public, friends of friends, friends except aquintances etc. in that you can chose by names too.. or if you don't want any person to even see you on Facebook then you can block

Goto privacy setting > sharing on facebook > then all option change to 'public'that related with photos, status update and tagging. Good luck!
