Facebook chat sound problem?

I have the box checked, and I don't think anything is muted. I have headphones on, and can listen to music and watch movies but no Facebook chat sounds. Help?
But it's been off for like 3 weeks now.

Sometimes it makes a sound and other times it just doesn't. It happens to me too.

This is most likely a problem that has nothing to do with your computer. A majority of Facebook users report some sort of problem with Facebook chat. I myself have experienced it many times. Theres nothing that can really remedy the problem, though you can try logging in and out of Facebook. Again, it's not a problem that's cause is your computer, it's just a very flawed Chat system that Facebook has developed.
