Which page rank will i get from blog commenting?
i am going to do blog commenting for backlink purpose. When i search for my keyword, in google search result page the no 1 result has PR4 (by seo quake). But after clicking the link, then the PR changes to n/a.
So, which pr will i get if i comment in the no 1 result link page.

First of all, you need to know that commenting on most pages out there won't pass any Page Rank juice to your blog except they offer dofollow links. Dedicate more time to search for blogs offering dofollow comment links, leave useful comments, then try your hands on guest blogging. These two methods can go a long way in helping you improve your page rank.

This used to really help your page rankings, but it's not soo much anymore. Oscar is correct, you want to first make sure that the blog allows engines to follow the comments. Keep in mind that the days of being able to spam your website all over the place are over. Blog comments are important, but keep in mind that it should be relevant to your site. You can check backlink profiles and see if this site is even worth it with tools like majesticseo or the Mozbar.

If I come across a blog that has good content and related to the site I'm working on, I contact the writers.
Most of the time they were hobby writers and I actually was able to give them content and got links from them. It was really minimal work for me and if I sent them some minor promotional item they were super happy with it. It also depends on what industry or what you're trying to promote.

You can do blog comment if it is related to your niche however excessive blog commenting is not good for your site.
