Google chrome HD Youtube video lag?

So I haven't been able to watch videos on youtube in 720/1080p in Google chrome because of extreme video lag but when I start up Internet Explorer I can watch youtube videos in 720 and 1080p without any problems there is no video lag at all. Ive cleared any background pages and closed extensions running in chrome and there was no difference, the exact same problem arose and suggestions?

Chrome uses so much RAM because of the massive render engine it has. If your computer is low end use CCleaner or a similar program to clear cached data. Or try re-installing chrome.

i think you must update your google chrome...or either you must re install google chrome

it seems that you need to have more ram in your pc.
