Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) with 2 PCs and 1 host?
Ok, here's the thing, I have a total of 3 network cards (1 for accessing the internet via a cable/dsl modem and 2 remaining NICs for sharing) in my PC (1 Wifi adapter) and running a windows vista. I need to be able to share internet with two other PCs in my network because currently I can only share an internet connection with one PC since I have an option here in my network settings to whom (which network adapter) I will share internet connection with. Hence I can only share internet with with the adapter which has sharing enabled in it so that leaves the other PC in the dark.

Anyone here knows how to share my internet with the other 2 PCs I have without the use of a router/hub??

Thanks in advance

Without a router or hub, you can share an internet connection only between two computers. You cannot share with the third computer. To share connections with two computers, purcahse a LAN cable configured to connect two computers together and use network setup wizard

purchase switch with 8 port ( this is minimum ports which is available in the market) and you should connect the hub to switch. Then from that switch you can connect 8 system. but this is possible. I think already u are have one hub.

When you turn on Internet Connection Sharing {ICS} on the host computer, the host computer's LAN adapter is automatically assigned the IP address of 192.168.0.1. Therefore, one of the following situations may occur: IP address conflict because each computer on the LAN must have a unique IP address. If more than one computer has the same IP address, an IP conflict occurs, and one of the network adapters turns off until the conflict is resolved. To resolve this conflict, configure the client computer to automatically obtain an IP address, or assign it a unique IP address.

If this doesn't resolve the problem try the Microsoft Help Database with keywords ICS/Internet Connection Sharing {multiple computers}.
