How many different methods of connecting a laptop to the internet are there?
Apart from the obvious ones:
Wi-fi from router Dongles that plug in 3G/4G connected through a mobile phone Dial Up Can anyone think of any other methods that a laptop could use get a steady internet connection? Cheers Ads |

You buy two Internet-over-mains adapters, one goes into the socket next to a router and gets connected to it, another one gets plugged in into any socket in the house and then you connect your laptop to it with RJ-45 cable. Nothing gives more stable connection than that.
