The rainbow with their different colors represents unity in diversity concept.

The bible says the rainbow represents God's promise never to destroy mankind with a flood again. The flood event was a judgment against sinful man and his rebellious and selfish ways against the GOD and his word and his followers. GOD will judge the world of sin in the future but not by flood.

How can you give a weather phenomenon a bad name? What about the rainbow colours of Benneton? Does that annoy you too.
