what does job ad status live mean online...?..???...?

i went and applied for a restaurant and the manger interviewed me spot on for a hostess position on Wednesday .. i went online now and found the offer .. does that mean they're still accepting applications? do i still have hope to hear from them?

I can only extrapolate from the web ad that the job has not been filled, or it has been and the web site has not yet been notified,

It could mean they're still accepting applications or it could mean it's just not been taken off the website yet.

You certainly still have a chance of still hearing from them though. Good luck. :-)
