Time Capsule Bottlenecking Speed?
Ok so my time capsule is bottlenecking my internet speed hard, I pay for 50 megabits per second. I get 95 when I directly plug my laptop in to my service provider's box, but when I use my time capsule for a wireless connection it ranges from 10-30 megabit per second, and to tell the truth this wouldn't really be a problem except for the fact that in my house we use many devices, and every thirty minutes or so the internet speed spikes under 1 megabit per second for a few minutes. To tell the truth that last part wouldn't be much of a problem either because most of the time we watch movies or surf the internet, you know stuff that doesn't need a constant internet connection, the problem starts when I am playing video games. I am constantly dealing with the fact that is the internet slows down immediately and I can't finish a single game which is probably the most annoying thing on earth, I resorted to using a wired connection and not playing console at all, which is horrible cuz i'm on spring break but whatever, my question is: is there a way to fix this or should I just trash the time capsule (which I'm itching to do) also I looked through the time capsule settings so I don't think it's that.
Any suggestions would be welcome, and if you think the time capsule is hopeless then do you have any router suggestions? (also there is no way in hell I am going to the apple store, their service sucks, I don't want to reserve a time to ask one question that their "geniuses" can't answe

when the time capsule backups up stuff it takes up a HUGE amount of bandwidth.... I would recommend a physical connection if you have ANY major or even minor scheduled data transfer... get a real wireless card or adapter and use that. disable the wireless on that crappy backup hardware and hard wire that
