I've uninstalled Chrome, and can't reinstall?
Earlier today I uninstalled Google Chrome (using iObit Uninstaller, which always works fine). Now I'm trying to reinstall Chrome from https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/ , but I keep getting the error message "This computer already has a more recent version of the Google Chrome components. Please use a more recent installer."

Then, under the error message, i click "Show me help for this issue," which takes me to https://support.google.com/installer/answer/117806?rd=1 . "Google Chrome is already installed?" I've uninstalled it. The program is nowhere to be found on my computer.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Are there any other specific files on my computer that need to be deleted? Thanks for any help.

According to your case, you have not fully uninstalled Chrome from your PC. To fix the problem, you could try to follow the Chrome removal guides below, And then, re-install Google Chrome properly.
1. Go to the Safe Mode of Windows and end all processes related to Chrome in Task Manager
2. Download and use Chrome uninstall tool like Perfect Uninstaller
3. Find the Chrome icon on the currently installed programs list and click "Uninstall" button to delete the program.

After you finish the prompt steps, Chrome has been successfully removed from your computer. And then, you could re-install it. And it will work well again.

Sometimes you have to reboot your PC/laptop in order so you can install.
