doesn't anyone take twitter seriously anymore?
saw a guy who is in the broadcasting business so I followed him for a minute thinking he might post something news related. I noticed his tweets were all one liners but they weren't even funny because they weren't relevant.
A lot of twitters just talk back and forth to each other and why do I have to read that? Can't they just keep it in private email or direct message? twitter is a wasteland. how come nobody uses it as a tool? they act like everybody is reading and cares what their thoughts are on everything mundane. and don't even get me started on ReTweets. If the same tweet is retweeted 100 times by 100 people I follow, why can't I just see it once at the top of my news feed? WHY does it have to repeat over and over and over again like it's something new. Twitter is a platform failure that caters to the lowest common denominator or else it wouldn't even still be around. It's not like we don't already have social media platforms that are useful and can be more easily screened or customized, such as facebook. essentially twitter is just broadcasting your away message to people constantly and changing it every minute and a half. There should be a limit to how many tweets a person can write off in a day, so that at least the content would have to be thought about before posting it. I don't know what else they can do to sustain my interest. Ads |
