Did Obama really say he could do whatever he wanted, after all, he is the law?

Yes he did and it might also be the first time in history that the French President actually is to the right of the POTUS.

That speaks volumes when you consider that France is run as a Communist Regime.

First half yes, 2nd half no.
The statement should be taken in context, and also considered to some extent that the President does have certain authorities. The statement was about his ability to see Monticello, the estate of Thomas Jefferson from a private terrace despite the fact that it is a breach of protocol of protecting the President.
Lines from the Bible are often taken out of context badly to create things and views that don't exist.
In your own reference:
"Mr. Obama made the tongue-in-cheek remark as he toured Monticello, the Charlottesville, Va., estate of Thomas Jefferson, with French President Francois Hollande. The visit is part of Mr. Hollande’s three-day stay in the U.S. this week.
The president delighted in his ability to “break the protocol” and view the Monticello grounds from a private terrace.
“That’s the good thing as a president. I can do whatever I want,” Mr. Obama said.

"Mr. Obama’s pronouncement came just an hour after the administration took unilateral action to delay and trim back more of the employer-mandate portions under Obamacare, the latest example of the White House’s willingness to act on its own, even when it comes to changing laws already on the books."

Now, the Republicans and most Americans do not support the AHCA (Obamacare) anyway, so if he acts to delay things he is supporting the Republicans and I cannot see that as worthy of criticism.

If he acts against the laws of the land as properly enacted and judged, there is an issue.

In his mind's eye, he's living in that sliver of time - the first two years of his reign - when he was King of all he surveyed, when his whim was made reality for America. Such was the godlike image he portrayed that even his cabinet gave Obamacare a standing ovation without even reading the bill. He still sees the bill as his private preserve, and if elements of it should happen to be electorally unpalatable, by all means delay implementation until after the mid-terms.
I see a man who was formed by the circumstances of his origins and upbringing being attracted to socialist dogma. No problem with that. What I now see is a disturbed man concerned only with his own personal reputation and doing whatever is possible, by whatever means, to salvage that reputation..

Well when King Obama threatens to sign laws without Congress, then he really has no respect for the way things work. He loves to pin the two parties against each other. As he does with the Race issue. He doesnt know one thing about bringing people together.
