Why does Instagram say I'm following more users than I am?

I have the instagram app for iPhone and if you look at how many people you're following it shows a number. Mine says 29. Then when I click it to see all the people's usernames that I'm following, I only count 10. I've tried turning my phone off and back on, logging out of the app and back in, and refreshing. I have no idea why it's doing this, but it's irritating me. lol Anyone know anything about this?

It may be having some error while loading all of your followers.
