Im not sure exactly what ur asking but if you are on a computer that is connected to a Modem wired and you are trying to share ur internet with another computer your computer would require a wireless radio and then you can use a program like Conectify but the ideal way to set up a wireless internet connection would be to invest in a wireless internet router and follow the instructions to hook it up to your modem

you need a wireless router, preferably the N type. connect it to your modem and configure it using your computer (for passwords, connection name, connection types). after that, you should have a wireless LAN in your computer to be able to connect to the internet using the wireless router.

connect with LAN and share Internet connection
(R Click on Internet Connection -> Properties -> sharing tab ).

then you can use Internet in another system that connected by LAN with this system. ;-)

go buy a Linksys wireless WRT52G router, they are the most nooby friendly ones in my opinion. also, buy a linksys adapter if you are going for a wireless connection from your computer to your router.
