My laptop will not let me connect to the internet wirelessly?
I've had this laptop forever and I always connected to the internet wirelessly through wifi but now it's saying that I need an ethernet cable to get on the internet.

It works with the ethernet cable but as soon as I unplug it it no longer works.

When I try to set up a new connection the only option is for broadband (PPPoE).

Can someone please help me!

There are 2 other laptops in my house and they are both working perfectly fine wirelessly.

Be sure you didn't accidentally flip the wireless adapter switch off, the switch is located in different locations on different laptops. Also check that you didn't right click on the wireless network adapter and chose " disable wireless adapter" when you chose to use the Ethernet network adapter connection instead.
