webpages load slow on all browsers?
when i click try to load a webpage it won't load sometimes it will take up to 30 seconds to load and other times it will instantly load. I use a wireless adapter and the router is downstairs from me . This problem only started happening about 2 weeks ago. I virus scanned and tryed malwarebytes and those didnt find anything. It worked pretty well before 2 weeks ago. I think its a software issue because while im playing a game or something i dont disconnect from it while the pages are still taking forever to load. But i am also having some disconection issues so could distance from my router be an issue (only up one flight of stares from it) or could my wireless adapter or router be failing?
I am using a pc and i just switched to google dns and for some reason pages are loading faster. even though i used isp dns for 2 years before this and it worked fine. Either its a solution or my computer decided to start working quicker when i chose google dns.

Are you using a Mac or a PC? Some Mac (and iPad) have issues with Wifi connectivity - dropping signal, or not connecting at all. I had an issue with my MacBook Air when I upgraded my router at home. The issue was due to the Mac not supporting the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies on the same SSID. Try to set up your router on 2.4GHz only (i.e. G or N ; disable A). If not try to disable WMM or QOS in your router settings.
If you have this issue with a Windows PC, I would suggest clearing your browser cache, removing all temporary files, trying another browser (i.e. Chrome or Firefox if you use IE). You could also try a wireless diagnostics tool such as http://www.inssider.com/.
Hope it will help.
