I have this site called SurpriseSearch.com! People use it, yet I want to boost the number of active users. I am kind of on a budget, so I would like to keep it as cheap as possible or free. I need to know if you have any creative ways you could recommend for advertising.

Advertise locally and trust me, people will talk. make signs, but please be professional and don't write them on a bright cardboard poster lol (them being the business). that really helps. include website, phone numbers, etc.

-Use free classifieds to advertise your blog, event, site etc etc. Easy. Like: Usfreeads.com, Craigslist.org, Kijiji.com, Uk.freeads.net, Ablewise.com, Vivastreet.co.uk Pay to feature your advert for more ad’ exposure too add an image, logo to your ads. Works.

-Write relevant articles and submit to popular article submitting websites.

-Write Blogs using blogger.com or wordpress.com or typepad.com.

-You can provide RSS/XML Feeds.

-Submit your site to social networking sites like Bebo or Facebook.

-Offline, word of mouth. Try to tell your friends and their other friends.

-Advertising through banners. You need to join banner exchange sites for that.
Exchange links with other good relevant sites.
