My HP's wifi isn't working!!!?

So I've has my computer for maybe 2 years. It's worked fine but now suddenly the wifi has stopped working. No networks appear at all and it tells me when I troubleshoot it, it tells me to plug in the Ethernet cable. The internet works for everyone else in my family. I've tried actually connecting the computer to the router with the cable, and it works. I've restarted my computer a million times, and I've used system restore three times. What should I do?

its probably ur hardrive, try rebooting the os from the beginig using a windows cd
worked 4 my pc wen it had the xact problems

Does your HP laptop have a tiny switch on the front or the side. Some HP laptops have a very tiny switch on the front edge or on the left side usually. Try to move this switch to the other position.
If that does not work have you tried to see if your WiFi is controlled with your F12 Key?
