Can I share two internet connections with one PC?
We live in a 2Mb/s area, but have a granny annex on site with a dedicated phone line. Is there any way of sharing two wireless internet connections on one PC to boost my speed?

Is there software to do this? Or is it possible to share two connections on two PCs in a cluster (linux perhaps) from one location? Ads |

I don't think so, because usually the wireless locks in into one i.p. adress.

You connot share two wireless connections on one pc.If you want to speed up your internet try google accerlation tool on the google website. it is a bit tricky to find but look around the site. Maybe try another way to boost up your internet speed by finding out how to speed up your system by sarching on the net.

You cannot connect to more than one internet connection at a time. There is a new technology by linksys. So if you have a linksys modem that comes with a booster option and a linksys wireless card (which goes with the booster modem) for your computer with, you can boost your wireless speed.
So either you upgrade your internet plan or you get a modem to boost your signal. If you want to have the faster/full connection use a LAN cable instead of Wireless(wi-fi) because wi-fi connection can only transfer data up to 54 Mbps. You can do some speed test to check if you're getting the full connection. Hope that helps =) Goodluck! |
