Why do all SEO Expert say the same thing, and What Qualifies a SEO Expert?

Why do all SEO expert say the same thing. I mean before they even know your site, business model, target demographic, etc They give you the same spill about generating traffic and making money online.

Also why do SEO companies make claims of what they can do for your site of business on search engines, but none of them rank high on Search engines themselves, but instead use slick tactics to generate business "Craigslist, Forum, Yahoo Answers, Spam etc"?

If SEO companies can help a company Design a website, Generate Traffic, Max Ad spend and Improve Conversions, why don't they have a huge profolio of their own high traffic/ high converting/profitable websites, or why don't they work on percentage of income?

SEO is search engine optimization. It is a set of techniques that are applied to your web site to help it get a better page rank on search engines. The better the page rank, the higher on the list you will be. It is best to be on page 1, or at worst on page 2 of search results, because most people don't look much beyond page 2 unless they are really looking for something unique.

Most peolle want good SEO because they want to attract more traffic to their site. Many of these people are trying to make money online one way or another, or they wouldn't really care about the ranking of their site.

SEO is of two primary types, on-site and off-site. On-site SEO are things like having keywords in the page titles, populating meta-tags with appropriate information, and having relevant content on the web pages. Off-site SEO involves getting other sites to link to your site (getting backlinks) and other things that help drive traffic to your site or increase your page ranking in the search engines.

A: Each companies get 1st page ranking in difference keywords. You may try few words with seo related such as; SEO tool, SEO software, web promotion, ete. You'll find different companies ranking there on the 1st page.
