I have an eleven year old purebred Bichon Frise. She is a spayed female and is AKC registered. I used to do junior showmanship (AKC and 4-H), agility (4-H), obedience (4-H), rally (did not compete, but practiced in 4-H), dog walk-a-thons to benefit charity, and unofficial therapy work with her. Now she is pretty much retired and "just" a pet. I love her more then anything in the whole world. Smile

I dont own a specific breed as I have a mix and mutt. The youngest is a Maltese/Shihtzu mix (avatar pic) and a mutt (Boxer/Amstaffy/Rigdgeback mix)

Rottweiler, Pomeranian-Poodle mix, Rottweiler-Pitbull mix, and a pure bred Pitbull. Never have had any fights between them. They are the nicest and friendliest dogs despite misconceptions about the other breeds. My pom is the smallest but oldest dog at 14 years, my Rottweiler is 10, my rot-pitbull mix is 2, and my pit bull is 7

I have a pure-bred field type yellow lab named 'Sunny', a medium sized liver with piebald mutt my parents rescued as a days-old puppy after a bad storm named 'Brock' (the dog, not the storm), and a giant black with white rescue mutt who's paperwork said "Americanbulldog/Greatdane mix" named 'Kona'. I've fostered many more dogs, and I still count some of those fosters as 'my' dogs, especially one's I lived with for long periods of times such as Mister the greyhound/husky, Mimi the Alaskan husky, and Minnow the wiredhaired mix.
