How do I make a special group page on Facebook?

I, along with many others, are going on a vacation together next year and I would like to make a special facebook page for that trip with info about it and so everyone going can visit the page and leave notes, etc. How do I do that? I already have a facebook page but I really don't want to mix the two.

You could always make an Event and make it private if you wanted it only for those who are going. You could do this and invite those who are going on it an post all of the information on it.
