my ex split with me 4 weeks ago, he said he doesnt want to get back with me but i know he still cares and we still talked whenever i initiated contact. i am currently in hospital and put up a status today about how i want to go home and one of my mates commented and asked was i still in hospital, im sure he should see this as it is fb or else one of his mates will so should he not after nearly a year together at least ask what was wrong or am i ok out of respect if i ever meant anything?

He should come to see you. I do not have Facebook but if possible, send him a personal message and say about you being in hospital. If he seems surprised, re-think being mad at him. When you meet up with him in person, think about whether you really want to be with him, not just because he says that he does and you feel lonely. If not, there are plenty more guys in life.
