Things to do a presentation on?
I have to do a 4 minute (min) presentation to my class on basically anything. Most people are doing music they like or hobbies but I'm not sure what to do it on, and I am really bad at giving talks to the class, i get really nervous and lack confidence.. what should I do my presentation on and how can I make sure it doesn't go shit?
Thanks!

Well it depends on what your interests are. if you like animals, or one specific animal, give a presentation in detail about that animal and it's habits, what it eats, how it lives, what are some fun facts about that animal, etc, just everything you can find about it. If you're into fitness, give a presentation about ways people can stay healthy, what they should do as far as exercise and activity, diet, etc, and some risks of an unhealthy lifestyle, or compare and contrast a healthy lifestyle to an unhealthy one. If you're really interested in some subject at school, such as history, give a presentation about your favorite historical character, for example, George Washington. If you like crime shows like Criminal Minds or CSI, give a presentation about the process officers go through to investigate a murder. If you are for or against something, such as abortion, give a presentation about some facts involving that subject, like some of the risks of getting an abortion, or the responsibilities of raising a child at a young age or something like that. If you're interested in computers or science or anything like that, give a presentation about the evolution of computers, or the evolution of science, or technology in general. Just think of something you're really interested to know more about, and go from there. 4 minutes isn't too bad of an amount of time.
Some other subjects you could present on are:
Social Media
Mental Disorders (OCD, Bipolar Disorder, etc)
Why processed meat is bad for you
Politics
The evolution of cars
Why we need to be more careful what we put online (because of sexual predators, identity thieves, cyber bullying, etc)
Sharks
Animals

Hope I helped!! Good luck on the presentation!!

Whatever you like! Don't do anything too complicated because you might get flustered. Try to do something you know about and feel confident about - maybe something that isn't so personal to you? I'd try and do as much of it from heart as possible, and maybe do a powerpoint with pictures so you feel like the attention is less on you.

I know how you feel - I had to do a presentation on womens' roles in WW1, did a huge, organised powerpoint for it. I worried about it loads, but when the time came to actually do it, I'd forgotten to send the right powerpoint so I only had 1 slide. I felt much more comfortable about doing it that way, because I had much less time to worry. I guess the most important thing is to not think or worry about it too much - it just makes you much more nervous! Good Luck!!! Smile
