Good wireless internet card for desktop?
I wanna build my own gaming monster but I need to make it be able to connect to WiFi and have a very good connection. What would be a good card that I could plug into the motherboard and get the high speeds I get with my laptop?

I wouldn't get an internal Wifi card. If you can't hard wire the connection, the best is to get a Wifi USB dongle.

Depending on where your router is, will decide what you need. My router is a room away from me and I still experience the occasional connection issues. As a gamer myself, I know that even that half a second lag spike could cost you the game.

I recommend getting a TP-LINK TL-WN722N . It supports up to 150 Mbp/s and comes with a little antenna for better signal. Most people's internet speeds are somewhere between 30-50 Mbps, so the 150 is more than enough.

Keep in mind that, even if your internet is fast, sometimes bad signal strength can make your internet slow.

Get a Ubiquiti nanostation loco m2 ~$50.00 and plug it into your Ethernet. (it might be bulky but you will never have an issue for range and speed)
